Top 30 Web Design Companies in Singapore (2026)
Compare 30 web design companies in Singapore, each checked on its own website: platforms, specialities, pros and cons, and how to choose the right one.

The short answer
- 01
Shortlist by need, not by rank. A clinic, an online store and a government agency need very different web design companies.
- 02
Check live work and the platform. Open their recent sites on your phone, and ask why they recommend WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or custom code.
- 03
Get ownership in writing. Your domain, hosting, logins and files should be in your name before you pay the final invoice.
Choosing a web design company in Singapore usually comes down to three things: the kind of site you need, the platform it should run on, and who looks after it once it is live.
Below are 30 web design companies, grouped by what they are best at, with what each one offers and what to check before you call. Short on time? Start with the shortlist.

How to choose a web design company in Singapore
Use the list above to shortlist three companies, then compare them on five things:
- Live work. Open their recent websites on your phone. Are they fast, clear and easy to use?
- Platform. Ask which platform they recommend for you, and why. Be wary of a company that recommends the same one to everyone.
- Process. Ask for the stages, what you receive at each one, and when you sign off.
- After launch. Who fixes things, how fast, and what maintenance costs.
- Ownership. Who owns the domain, hosting, logins and design files at the end.
Our guide on how to choose a web design agency in Singapore has the full list of questions and a scorecard.
Choosing a platform
The platform affects how easy the site is to edit, how much upkeep it needs, and how hard it is to move later.
If you are unsure, our platforms page compares the five we build on.
What a website costs, and how to compare quotes
There is no standard price. The biggest factors are the number of unique page layouts, how bespoke the design is, whether your copy and photos are ready, the platform, integrations such as payments or booking, and the number of languages.
The best way to compare is to send three companies the same one-page brief, then check that each quote shows these items separately:
Red flags: a single total with no breakdown, no timeline, no mention of who owns the site, and a price given before anyone has asked about your goals.
Grants
Several companies in this list mention government grant support on their websites. Grant schemes for digital solutions change from time to time, and some company pages still describe older schemes.
Before you rely on a grant, check the current scheme on GoBusiness, and ask the company in writing whether its package qualifies and what paperwork it will handle.
Contract and ownership checklist
Most people only read this part of the contract when something goes wrong. Check it before you sign.
If your site has a contact form, booking or online store, it collects personal data. Ask how the company handles consent, cookies and where form data is stored, so the site follows the PDPA.
Freelancer, small studio or large agency?
| Option | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancer | Small, well-defined projects with a clear brief | One person, so check cover for leave and support |
| Small studio | Most SME and brand websites | Capacity during busy periods |
| Large agency | Complex, multi-team or enterprise projects | Higher cost, and you may not work with the senior team |
Leaning towards a freelancer? See our list of freelance web designers in Singapore.
Questions to ask on the first call
- Can you show me three live sites similar to mine?
- Which platform would you recommend for us, and why?
- Who will design, write and build our site?
- What does your process look like, and when do we sign off?
- How will you protect our Google rankings if we are redesigning?
- What happens after launch, and what does maintenance cost?
- Who will own the domain, hosting, logins and files?
How we chose these companies
Every company here designs websites, has a Singapore presence, and has a working website that describes its services clearly enough to compare fairly. Each entry is written only from what the company’s own website says, and where a site does not say something, we say so.
Since our last update we removed 20 companies: some had closed, some had moved out of web design or out of Singapore, and one old domain now points somewhere unrelated. We re-check this list every quarter.
How we work at JIN
We have designed and built more than 200 websites since 2015. Designers, writers and developers work in one team, and we use AI to move faster while people make and check every decision.
If you would like a second opinion on a quote, or to see how we would approach your website, talk to us or see our web design service.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost in Singapore?
It depends on scope: how many unique page layouts you need, how bespoke the design is, whether copy and photos are ready, the platform, integrations such as payments or booking, and the number of languages. Ask three companies to quote against the same brief and compare what each quote includes.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the number of pages, features and how quickly content and feedback come back. Content is what usually holds projects up. A good company gives you a timeline with milestones before you sign.
Should I choose WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or custom code?
WordPress suits content-rich sites your team updates often. Shopify suits online stores that want a hosted platform. Webflow suits design-led marketing sites edited visually. Custom code suits sites that need maximum speed, security or features no platform offers. A good company recommends one after it understands your content and team.
Can I use a government grant for a new website?
Some digital solutions are supported by government grants, and several companies here mention grant support on their sites. Grant schemes and their rules change, so check the current scheme on GoBusiness and ask the company in writing whether its package qualifies before you rely on it.
Who should own the website after launch?
You should. Make sure the domain, hosting account, admin logins, design files and any theme or plugin licences are in your company's name, and that the contract says so.
Do I need maintenance after the website is built?
Yes, especially on WordPress. Software and plugins need updates, backups need to run, and someone needs to watch for downtime and security problems. Ask whether the company offers a maintenance plan, and what it covers.
How do I switch web design companies?
Collect your domain, hosting and website logins first, take a full backup, and ask the new company to audit the site before any changes. If you are redesigning, insist on a plan for redirects so you keep your Google rankings.
Is a local Singapore company better than an overseas one?
Not always, but a local company works in your time zone, can meet in person, understands Singapore customers and knows local rules such as the PDPA. That makes communication and support after launch easier.
