20 Best Website Maintenance Companies in Singapore (2026)
Compare the best website maintenance companies in Singapore: what each plan covers, platforms, takeovers of existing sites, hosting, and how to choose.

The short answer
- 01
Know what a real plan includes. Updates, regular off-site backups (daily for sites that change often), security, uptime monitoring and a tested way to restore the site.
- 02
Response time beats feature lists. Ask how fast they respond and how fast they fix, in writing.
- 03
Match the platform. Most plans are built for WordPress. Shopify, Drupal or custom sites need a team that lists them.
The best website maintenance company in Singapore keeps your platform up to date, tests each update before it reaches your live site and puts its response times in writing.
Hosting is the other big difference, since some companies bundle it and others work with the host you already have. Below we compare the main options, then cover what a good plan should include.
Last checked: October 2026. Every company is described from its own website. JIN Design is our company and is listed first, and the rest are in alphabetical order. If you already know you want us, our website maintenance services in Singapore page shows what each plan covers.

What a website maintenance plan should include in Singapore
Plans vary a lot. Some are little more than hosting with backups. Others include a monthly bank of hours for changes and a named person who looks after your site.
The last two matter most. Ask how fast they respond when something breaks, and whether they have ever actually restored a site from backup. Our guide to what a website maintenance plan should cover goes through each item by platform, with a free checklist.
How often website maintenance should happen
Not everything needs doing every week. This schedule works for most business sites.
The best website maintenance companies in Singapore
1. JIN Design
A Singapore web agency that maintains WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including ones it did not build, and the AI-powered websites it builds.
We maintain WordPress websites for Singapore businesses, including online stores, membership and quotation sites and custom-built WordPress, whether we built them or not. Plugin, theme and core updates run every week, each one tested and reviewed. Password-protected backups go to cloud storage weekly, or daily on the higher plans, with one-click recovery, and security covers plugin vulnerability patches, activity logging and a Premium Wordfence licence on the higher plans.
Every month you get a plain-English report of what changed. Hosting stays with your hosting provider, who looks after the server. Emergencies get priority and are usually handled the same day. Our website maintenance packages page sets out what each plan covers, and every plan is quoted after we assess your site.

How to choose the best website maintenance company for your site
Ask every company the same questions, and get the answers in writing.
- Which platforms do you maintain? WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Drupal or custom code.
- Will you take over a site you did not build? Most will, after an audit. Ask if the audit is charged.
- How often are backups taken, where are they stored, and how long are they kept?
- Do you test updates before they go live? A staging site prevents broken pages.
- How fast do you respond, and how fast do you fix? These are different numbers.
- What does the monthly report show? You should understand it without a developer.
Website maintenance response time vs resolution time
Response time is how quickly someone acknowledges the problem. Resolution time is how quickly it is fixed. A two-hour response with no fix by tomorrow does not help much.
Also check:
- Business hours. Are response times counted in Singapore business hours only?
- Weekends and public holidays. Who answers if the site goes down on a Sunday?
- Hours banks. If the plan includes hours for changes, do unused hours roll over?
Things to confirm before you sign
- Backups are taken regularly and stored off the server that runs the site.
- Updates are tested before they reach the live site.
- You get a monthly report.
- The minimum term and notice period are written down.
- Your domain and hosting are registered in your company’s name.
Website maintenance contract and ownership checklist
Most people only read this part of the contract when they want to leave. Read it first.
For .sg domains, check that your company is the registrant, not the agency. You can see the registrant details in your domain registrar’s account.
Switching website maintenance from your current developer
If your current developer has moved on or no longer offers maintenance, moving to a maintenance company is usually straightforward. Gather these first:
- Domain registrar login
- Hosting or server login
- Website admin login (for example, WordPress administrator)
- FTP or SFTP and database access, if you have them
- Any premium plugin or theme licences
- Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager access
The new company will usually audit the site, take a fresh backup, fix anything urgent, and then start the regular schedule.
What a good website maintenance report shows
A monthly report should let you see, in a few minutes, that the site is safe and working. Look for:
- Updates applied, and anything held back and why
- Uptime for the month and any downtime incidents
- Proof that backups ran, and when one was last test-restored
- Security scan results
- Speed or Core Web Vitals
- Hours used and changes made
PDPA and website security for Singapore businesses
If your website has a contact form, a booking system or an online store, it holds personal data. Under the PDPA you are responsible for protecting it, even if a vendor runs the site.
If you assess that a data breach is notifiable, you must tell the PDPC no later than 3 calendar days after that assessment. Most WordPress security issues are found in plugins rather than WordPress itself, according to Patchstack’s State of WordPress Security report, which is why weekly updates matter.
When comparing vendors, it is reasonable to ask how they secure logins, who has access, and whether they hold a recognised security mark such as CSA’s Cyber Essentials.
What affects the cost of website maintenance
There is no standard price, because no two sites need the same work. These are the main factors:
- Platform. WordPress with many plugins needs more updating than a hosted platform.
- Size and complexity. More pages, languages and integrations mean more to check.
- Online sales. Stores need closer monitoring, because downtime costs money.
- How often content changes. A bank of hours for edits adds to the plan.
- Response times. Faster guaranteed fixes cost more.
Most companies charge in one of four ways:
| Model | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly plan | A fixed fee for an agreed set of tasks | Most business sites |
| Retainer with hours bank | A monthly fee that includes hours for changes | Sites that change often |
| Prepaid credits or hour blocks | Buy hours in advance, use them as needed | Occasional work |
| Per job | A fixed fee for one task, such as malware removal | One-off fixes |
Watch for costs outside the plan: premium plugin licences, hosting, domain renewals, a first-time audit, and emergency fixes such as hacked-site cleanup. Ask whether prices include GST.
On grants: do not assume ongoing maintenance is claimable. Enterprise Singapore’s EDGE online shop support, for example, does not cover maintenance or GST. Check the current scheme rules on GoBusiness and ask the vendor in writing.
Does every platform need the same website maintenance?
No. WordPress and other self-hosted sites need the most: core, theme and plugin updates, security and backups are your responsibility.
Shopify, Webflow, Wix and Squarespace handle software updates and hosting for you. They still need app management, content updates, link and form checks, speed work and tracking.
Should you maintain your website yourself or hire a company?
You can maintain a simple site yourself if someone on your team is comfortable with updates and backups, and has the time every week.
| Situation | Our suggestion |

How we chose these website maintenance companies
Every company here has a page about website maintenance, a Singapore presence, and enough detail on its own website to describe the service fairly. Each entry is written only from what the company’s own website says, and where a site does not say something, we say so.
We re-check this list every quarter and remove companies that close or stop offering maintenance.
How our website maintenance services work
We maintain WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including ones we did not build, after a quick check. Every weekly update is checked for risk and tested first, and screenshots of key pages are compared afterwards.
Backups go to cloud storage weekly, or daily on the higher plans. The monthly report shows what we did and what to improve next, in plain English. Your site stays on hosting in your company’s name, and we look after the website itself.
We also look after the AI-powered websites we build. If your WordPress site has become slow, fragile or expensive to patch, we can rebuild it as an AI-powered website: custom-coded with no plugin stack to maintain, and with redirects planned for every old URL.
If your site needs looking after, see what our website maintenance services cover, or talk to us.
Frequently asked questions
How often should a website be maintained?
Backups weekly at minimum, daily for stores and busy sites. Uptime checks daily. Software and plugin updates and security scans weekly. Speed, links and forms monthly. Content, SEO and accessibility every quarter, and domain, SSL and platform reviews once a year.
How much does website maintenance cost in Singapore?
It depends on the platform, the size of the site, whether it sells online, how often it changes and how fast you need problems fixed. Most companies charge a monthly retainer, an hours bank or a fee per job. Compare what each plan includes, and ask whether prices include GST.
Can a company maintain a website it did not build?
Usually, yes. Most maintenance companies take over existing sites after an audit, so they can check the code, plugins and hosting first. Some charge for that first check.
Do Shopify, Wix or Webflow sites need maintenance?
Less technical maintenance, because the platform handles software updates and hosting. They still need someone to manage apps, content, broken links, speed and tracking, and to keep an eye on how the site performs.
What should I do if my website is hacked?
Take it offline or put up a maintenance page, change all passwords, and restore a clean backup or get the malware removed. Then find out how it happened and patch it. If personal data may have been exposed, check whether you need to notify the PDPC.
Is hosting included in website maintenance?
Sometimes. Some companies bundle hosting with maintenance, some work with your existing host, and hosting companies sometimes include basic care. Check the table in this guide and ask before signing.
Which is the best website maintenance company in Singapore?
The best one for you maintains your platform, takes over sites it did not build, tests updates before they go live and puts response and fix times in writing. We list ourselves first, then 19 other Singapore companies alphabetically, each described from its own website.
