Hi guys!

For today’s post we will be learning how to illustrate an all-time caffeine addict’s favourite cuppa by using simple shapes, pen tool and pathfinder.

One of the best ways to learn something new is to DIY (Do-It-Yourself!)

We will be using Adobe Illustrator, a common tool used by designers to create vectors. Please make sure that your workspace for layers, pathfinder and stroke are all at the sidebar for easy access. If you do not see them at the side, you can go to Windows to make them appear.

So, without further ado – let’s get your pen and shapes going!

Aaaand, I hope you’ve learned something from the video. Sometimes, creating an illustration can just be about combining different shapes together or subtracting them, just like how we did to achieve the shadows for the cup. No worries if it took you some time to get a hang of it, after all, it takes practice to become better!
