The island

Small enough to walk barefoot, end to end.

Selara is a green island ringed by a shallow lagoon and a living reef. Thirty-eight villas, one garden kitchen, a spa in the trees and sandy paths that all lead back to the water.

    Sustainability

Leave the island better than you found it.

Good habits, not slogans. Here is how the island runs day to day, and how you can join in while you are here.

    1. Powered by the sunSolar panels on the villa roofs and the boat house run the island through the day. The generator is a backup, not the plan.
    2. Grow a piece of reefOur coral nursery sits off the jetty. Join a marine guide on Thursday mornings to plant a fragment on the house reef.
    3. No single-use plasticWater is filtered on the island and served in glass. Bring a bottle home, not a bag of rubbish.
    4. Local firstMost of our team comes from villages nearby. Fish, fruit and crafts are bought from neighbours, not shipped in.

    Questions, answered.

Anything else? Write to hello@example.com or call +65 6000 0000.

When is the best time to visit?+

The island is warm all year. April to October is the dry season, with calm seas and the clearest water for diving. November to March brings short afternoon showers, a greener island and lower rates.

What is included in the rate?+

Breakfast every day, sunrise yoga, kayaks and snorkel gear, Wi-Fi, and the resort boat between the island terminal and our jetty.

Is the resort good for children?+

Yes. Family Villas have a shallow pool, the lagoon is calm and shallow near the beach, and the kids club runs from 9 am to 5 pm.

Can I dive if I have never tried?+

Yes. Our instructors start you in the pool, then take you to the house reef once you feel ready.

    Do I need a visa?+

Many passports get a visa on arrival at the island terminal. Please check the rules for your passport before you travel; our team is happy to help.
